CLISSON VINTAGE 2023
On the weekend of August 25, 26 and 27, 2023 , Guimbarde exhibited in Clisson , a small town in Loire Atlantique located between Nantes, Cholet and Angers.
For the duration of a biannual weekend, Clisson Vintage allows this very pleasant town, with its medieval center and its castle, to quadruple its population. The atmosphere was friendly and family-friendly during this gathering dedicated to old Volkswagens and Porsches .
Clisson Vintage, in 2023: around 1,000 Combi, Cox, Buggy, Porsche gathered throughout the city during the weekend (250 vehicles on Saturday and more than 800 on Sunday), 25,000 visitors, 2 exhibiting villages bringing together around sixty stands.
La Guimbarde had set up its stand under the 14th century market hall, in the heart of the town. Decoration shops, miniatures, ready-to-wear, flea markets... offered their items for the greatest pleasure of visitors. Numerous food trucks based on Combi or LT and the official festival store completed the heart of the city.
Rare and original vehicles were on display. In the middle of the Porsche set, you could admire a light plane, raw metal color, with a 1500 cm3 Cox engine, single-seaters with “air cooled” engines or even a “miniature Buggy Solido” in its box… on scale 1! Many Karmanns, type 14 or 34, coupes or convertibles and no less than 75 Buggy also made the trip. Finally, slightly less common vehicles but still with a rear engine were also there: Type 3 1500/1600, the 411/412, the Type 181.
The Porsche field showcased beautiful, rare or prestigious examples of Porsche 356, 911, 912.
Clisson Vintage is a wonderful event for enthusiasts, the curious or passers-by, which still offers us a little taste of vacation and carefreeness just before the start of the school year!
